Amusing, tender, and sweet like a grandmother's caress with her jam-stained hands, such is the Romani-Czech bilingual autobiographical prose, Květoslava Podhradská's debut for children and their parents, which won the Golden Ribbon award for publishing achievement of the year 2022 and 3rd place in the children's fiction category of the Most Beautiful Book of the Year.

The writer’s summer debut takes children to a contemporary Moravian town called Boskovice, where Patricie and Robin come to spend the hot summer days with their grandmother. Grandma's garden and dining table become silent witnesses to stories from her life, so different from the lives of children today. A book for both the young and old who want to learn about the past and present life of the Roma.
