As early as a secondary- school student at the Slavic Grammar School in Olomouc, Petr Polák (1997) directed a short film called Hra peněz (The Money Game) with his classmates, which was filmed on a mobile phone and won an award at the 2014 Febiofest film festival in the section "You Are a Filmmaker Too." He graduated from illustration and graphic design at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. In 2016, he exhibited his artwork at the book-illustration festival Lustr in Prague. A year later, he created a set of illustrations for the 11th issue of the children's magazine Raketa, dedicated to popular science. In 2021, he won the Magnesia Award for student comics at the Muriel comic book awards competition for his collection of three mystery stories entitled Močál (The Swamp). He collaborates with various newspapers and magazines, most notably Deník N, for which he has been making covers and illustrations consistently for several years.

He illustrated Michal Šamka's book Májky a totemy (30 Best Books for Children and Young Adults) for the Kher publishing house.
